Dr. Abby Robinson
Dr. Abby Robinson grew up in Great Bend, KS where she was an avid swimmer, competing on both the summer swim team and her high school team. With a passion for anatomy and learning how the body works, Dr. Abby went on to attend the University of Kansas where she studied Exercise Science. During her time at KU, Dr. Abby developed a deeper interest in anatomy and how body mechanics influence movement and performance. She then decided to further her education by attending Cleveland Chiropractic College – Kansas City, where she graduated cum laude in 2010.
While enrolled at Cleveland Chiropractic, Dr. Abby attended numerous Active Release Technique (ART) seminars and became Full Body ART Certified. Dr. Abby has over a decade of experience utilizing Active Release Technique to treat soft tissue injuries and movement restrictions.

Since graduating in 2010, Dr. Abby has continued to expand her knowledge through numerous evidence-based seminars and certifications including Integrated Dry Needling (IDN), instrument assisted soft tissue therapy (FST/FAKTR & Blades by RockTape), musculoskeletal injury taping (RockTape), sports screening for injury prevention (FMS), Webster Technique for prenatal and postpartum care, neuromuscular re-education (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization), and multiple McKenzie Disc and Cervical/Thoracic Protocol courses.

Two of the highlights of Dr. Abby’s continuing education have been Integrated Dry Needling (IDN) and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS).

Integrated Dry Needling (IDN) is a powerful treatment approach that targets neurogenic inflammation, which is often a major contributor to ongoing pain and dysfunction. IDN utilizes a systematic and reproducible approach to calm irritated nerves, desensitize painful tissues, and restore normal muscle function. When combined with movement-based rehabilitation and chiropractic care, dry needling can be an extremely effective tool for helping stubborn injuries finally resolve.

Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) focuses on restoring proper core stabilization and breathing mechanics. After utilizing soft tissue therapy and chiropractic adjustments to reduce pain and restore mobility, DNS helps address one of the most common root contributors to injury: poor stabilization. By improving how the core and diaphragm function together, patients are able to move more efficiently and safely — allowing the extremities to perform the way they were designed and helping patients get back to doing what they love.

With these tools and techniques, Dr. Abby is able to design individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific condition, movement patterns, and goals.

In her free time, Dr. Abby enjoys cooking, digging in the garden, and spending time outdoors staying active with her husband and two boys.
